Mossburn Speyside Blended Malt Scotch Whisky

Mossburn Speyside is a blended malt Scotch whisky from the Mossburn Signature Casks range, made from Speyside malts. It is bottled without colouring or chill-filtration. The malts were first aged in American oak, then blended and matured further in casks built to Mossburn's own specification. Five-eighths of the blend rests in 200-litre American casks and one-eighth in 500-litre Oloroso sherry casks. The remainder is also in American casks, for a vanilla finish. The nose is clean, with light sherry, woody spice, vanilla and heather. Charred wood and Oloroso sherry shape a rich palate that is not overly sweet. The finish has light citrus spice, white pepper and a hint of exotic fruit before the sherry returns.
