Mossburn x Foursquare is the first release in the annual Cask Collaboration Series, a 12 year old Speyside blended malt bottled at 57.7% in a 70cl bottle. The malt was aged for more than 12 years in ex-bourbon casks, then re-aged in American oak casks that previously held mature Foursquare rum. It is a limited edition.
The nose is spicy and sweet, with peppermint, nutmeg, Christmas cake, marmalade and parsley. The palate brings toffee apples, sweet spices, gingerbread and bitter orange peel, with a slightly perfumed note. The finish is long, sweet and spicy.
