This is a Speyside single malt from Mosstowie, distilled in 1979 and bottled in 2012 by Gordon & MacPhail for their Rare Old range. It was bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle, and only 350 bottles were released.
Mosstowie was made on Lomond stills at Miltonduff distillery from 1964 to 1981. This one was matured in refill bourbon barrels.
It is described as having easy green fruits, touches of spice and menthol, and a lasting fruitiness.
