A 35-year-old blended whisky from Murray McDavid, built on two Islay malts, Bowmore and Laphroaig, which were married together for many years and then joined with aged grain whisky from the North British Distillery. The youngest whisky in it was distilled in 1989. It was finished in a Murça Tawny Port cask before bottling in 2025 for the Mission Gold collection, at natural cask strength, with natural colour and no chill filtration. Cult of Islay is a tribute to the island's spirit and its devoted followers.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
