This Amahagan World Blended is a Japanese blended whisky from the Nagahama distillery, bottled at 47% in a 70cl bottle. It was made to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Final Fantasy XIV, in a collaboration with Isetan Mitsukoshi, and is part of a limited release.
The bottle represents Ul'dah, the city of sand. It is a blend of malt and grain whiskies sourced from distilleries around the world and aged in wine and sherry casks. The mingling of those two cask types reflects the mix of cultures brought by trade in the city.
A glittering sherry cask-aged blended whisky was used as an accent, inspired by the jewel on Ul'dah's flag.
