This is a Japanese blended whisky from Nagahama, bottled at 47% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It was made from malt whisky from the Akashi, Nagahama and Saburomaru distilleries.
Nagahama malt is the key component of the blend, and long-aged grain whisky links the different malts together. The label shows Lake Biwa and the stork and hiyodori symbols of the region.
The nose is fresh citrus with a seaside peat note. The palate brings rum raisin, bitter chocolate and sponge cake sweetness, and the finish is slightly sweet and spicy with soft peat.
