This is a single cask organic single malt from Nc'nean's AON series, bottled at a cask strength of 57.1% in a 70cl bottle. It comes from cask 20-674, an ex-Amarone red wine cask, and yielded 491 bottles.
The whisky was distilled in May 2020 and bottled in May 2025, after five years in oak that once held Amarone. Nc'nean uses 100% organic Scottish barley, and this bottling is non-chill-filtered with no added colour.
The nose combines raspberries in syrup, toasted spices, sour fruit chews and shredded ginger. On the palate are baked strawberry and apple and sour fruit with a spicy kick. It ends on red currant and berry compote, with a long chocolate-ganache finish.
