Ned – Grand Reward Australian Whisky (70cl, 50%)

Grand Reward is an Australian whisky from Ned, bottled at 50% ABV, or 100 proof on the American scale. It is made from a corn mash bill. A hand-picked parcel of Ned Australian Whisky barrels is matured further in ex-tawny casks. Those casks come from the Rutherglen region of Victoria, where they previously held tawny fortified wine. The distilling team describes the result as an iron fist in a velvet glove. The whisky's own vanilla, caramel and chocolate sit alongside dried fruit, Christmas cake and red berry notes from the cask.
