NED – Vault Barrelhouse Selection Australian Whisky (70cl, 58%)

NED Vault Barrelhouse Selection is an Australian whisky from the distillery's Vault series, bottled at 58% in a 70cl bottle. The series draws on casks the distillery regards as its most outstanding, and releases are typically single-barrel, so each bottling comes from one cask. Vault whiskies are bottled straight from the cask and unfiltered. Maturation is in American oak under Victoria's climate, which is said to speed the ageing. Expect vanilla, caramel, spice and toasted oak, ending in a rich, powerful finish.
