Nerello Mascalese IGP Cantina Colosi

A red wine from Cantina Colosi, made from Nerello Mascalese grapes grown on the volcanic slopes of Etna in Sicily. It is vinified with care, often in steel, then aged to bring out complexity without losing natural softness. In the glass it is bright ruby red, with red fruit, floral notes and a delicate hint of spice and volcanic ash. The palate is harmonious, with smooth tannins and pleasant freshness.
