New Louisville Whiskey Co. 10 Year Hazmat Bourbon Hollywood Honey (75cl, 70.1%)

New Louisville Whiskey Co. 10 Year Hollywood Honey is a single barrel, cask strength bourbon from the Nulu brand in Louisville, Kentucky, in a 750ml bottle. It was aged for ten years in new charred American oak and bottled undiluted and non-chill filtered at 70.1% ABV (140.2 proof). Bourbons bottled above 140 proof are nicknamed hazmat by collectors. The barrel gave the bottling its name for its honeyed sweetness, and the label shows the Hollywood sign above barrels pouring honey. The nose has wild honey, caramel, vanilla bean, toasted oak and warm spice. The palate is full bodied and intense, with honeycomb, toffee, dark caramel, cinnamon, clove and bold oak char. The finish is exceptionally long, with honey, spice and oak.
