New Riff 8 Years Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey (75cl, 50%)

This is the oldest bourbon released by New Riff, the Newport, Kentucky distillery founded in 2014, and it joined the core range in March 2024. It is aged for a minimum of 8 years in 53 gallon toasted and charred new oak barrels, double the age of the distillery's Bottled in Bond bourbon. The mashbill is 65% corn, 30% rye and 5% malted barley, and the whiskey is bottled at 100 proof (50%) without chill filtration. Because the older stock came from two distilling seasons, it does not carry the Bottled in Bond label. The nose offers vanilla custard, caramel and apricot, and the finish is mellow and buttery.
