Nikka Coffey Grain Whisky is a Japanese grain whisky from the Miyagikyo distillery, where Nikka operates two Coffey stills. They are named after their inventor, Aeneas Coffey, and were imported from Scotland in 1963. These old stills give a distillate with more flavour and depth than modern column stills, and a distinct character that defines the Nikka house blends.
