Nikka Miyagikyo is a Japanese single malt from the distillery of the same name, in a 50cl bottle. Miyagikyo was founded in 1969 and is Nikka's second distillery.
It uses chimney and large steel stills, a set-up quite different from the one behind the heavier whiskies of Yoichi.
The whiskies from Miyagikyo tend to be fruity and light, and that is the character usually associated with this bottling.
