Nikka Coffey Malt

Nikka Coffey Malt is a Japanese single malt distilled at the Miyagikyo Distillery in Sendai. It is made in a Coffey still, a type of still usually reserved for grain whisky, and it is aged in American oak casks. The nose is rich and sweet, with banana bread, vanilla cream and a touch of clove, along with citrus and caramelised sugar. The palate is smooth and full-bodied, with ripe fruit, toasted oak and dark toffee, plus soft spice and malty depth. The finish is long and silky, with vanilla bean, dried fruit and gentle warming spice.
