Nikka Coffey Grain Whisky

Nikka Coffey Grain is a single grain Japanese whisky distilled in a traditional Coffey still, a 19th-century continuous still that Nikka's founder, Masataka Taketsuru, introduced to Japan. It is distilled mainly from corn and matured in a mix of re-charred American oak casks. The nose offers sweet vanilla, popcorn, ripe banana and a touch of coconut. On the palate it is silky and full-bodied, with crème caramel, juicy pear and spiced oak. The finish is long, warming and gently spiced, with lingering tropical fruit and roasted nuts.
