Nikka Days is a Japanese blended whisky in a 70cl bottle, made with whiskies from the Miyagikyo and Yoichi distilleries.
The nose combines honey, baked lemon, vanilla essence, brioche, golden syrup and spring tree blossom, with hints of butterscotch and caramel. The palate is smooth, rich and rounded, with toffee, chocolate, red berry fruit, plum, vanilla pod, a touch of oak char and clipped spices.
A flash of peat smoke arrives in the finish, alongside burnt sugar, baked fruits and spices.
