Nikka Frontier is a blended whisky released for Nikka's 90th anniversary. It centres on peated malt whisky from the Yoichi Distillery, combined with grain whisky from the Miyagikyo Distillery, and is bottled at 48% ABV.
On the palate, smoky peat meets the mature fruitiness of sherry casks. The finish is gentle, with woody notes and vanilla sweetness. It can be drunk neat, over ice or as a Highball.
