Nikka Limited Edition 2025 Signed by Hiromi Ozaki

A Japanese blended whisky released to mark the handover of the Chief Blender position at Nikka in 2025. It was created jointly by former Chief Blender Hiromi Ozaki and current Chief Blender Junji Iseki, and is limited to 8,000 bottles worldwide. The blend draws on five component whiskies: Miyagikyo aromatic yeast malt aged over 20 years, Ben Nevis distilled in 1986 and 1991, a fruity, ester-rich Yoichi, Moji grain whisky, and Yoichi matured in Mizunara casks. The nose combines peaty sea-breeze notes with caramelised crème brûlée, deep oak and green bamboo. Fruity sweetness meets dark-chocolate bitterness on the palate, and the finish is long, with mellow peat and dried-fruit sweetness.
