Nikka Miyagikyo Peated 2021 Japanese Whisky (70cl, 48%)

Nikka Miyagikyo Peated is a 2021 single malt from the Miyagikyo distillery, bottled at 48% in a 70cl bottle. It belongs to the Nikka Discovery series, which looks at the experiments carried out during whisky making at Nikka. This expression focuses on the range of ingredients available at the distillery and is made only from batches of peated malt. It is meant to overturn the usual image of Miyagikyo as light and fruity.
