Nikka Taketsuru 17 Years is a Japanese pure malt whisky aged for 17 years. It is made to express the whisky philosophy of Masataka Taketsuru, the founder, and is a blend of several selected malt whiskies.
The nose is rich in fruit, with floral notes and a light touch of spice. The palate is round and smooth, with plenty of malt character, gentle wood and a vanilla sweetness. The finish is long, with subtle spice and a fruity aftertaste.
