Nikka Taketsuru 35 Year Old is a Japanese blended malt released in 2001, in a 75cl bottle at 43% abv. Taketsuru bottlings usually draw on malt from Nikka's Yoichi and Miyagikyo distilleries, and this one is likely to be predominantly Yoichi whisky. Only 700 bottles were released. The whisky was distilled in 1965 or earlier, and releases of this kind were originally aimed at the Japanese market only.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
