Nikka Taketsuru 17 Year Old is a Japanese pure malt whisky named after Masataka Taketsuru, the founding father of Nikka. It is bottled at 43% in a 750ml bottle.
The 17 year old has long been sought after in the American market, and it is regarded as one of the best Nikka whiskies.
On the palate it is round and soft, with dried fruit and an earthy, meaty character.
