Nikka Taketsuru Pure Malt is a Japanese malt whisky with no age statement, bottled at 43% ABV in a 75cl bottle.
It is named after Masataka Taketsuru, the founder of the company. The blend includes plenty of whisky from the Miyagikyo distillery, together with a proportion of malt matured in sherry casks.
The sherry-matured malt gives the whisky a rich, spiced nose.
