Nikka Whisky from the Barrel 90th Anniversary Edition (50cl, 51.4%)

Nikka Whisky from the Barrel is a Japanese blended whisky, here in the 90th Anniversary Edition from Nikka. It comes in a 50cl bottle at 51.4% ABV, and the expression first appeared in 1985. It was developed to deliver the full flavour and richness of whisky straight from the cask, as blenders usually experience it. More than 100 different batches of malt and grain whisky go into the blend. Once blended, the whisky is filled into used casks and rests for a few more months, so the components marry and the taste turns soft.
