Nikka Yoichi 10-Year-Old 2023 Release (70cl, 45%)

Nikka Yoichi 10 Year Old is a Japanese single malt in a 70cl bottle, bottled at 45%. It comes from Yoichi, Nikka's first distillery, on the coast of Hokkaido, the northernmost island of Japan. The distillery works with methods from the past, such as direct coal heating, and the whisky has coastal and peat notes. The nose brings stone fruits, ginger, plum, blossom, dates and applewood smoke. The palate is viscous, warming and vibrant, with fruit salad, bonfire and exotic spices. The finish is long and full, with cocoa, dried spice and a constant fruitiness.
