Yoichi is the distillery where Nikka whisky began, founded by Masataka Taketsuru, known as the father of Japanese whisky. The malts for this bottling are selected from whisky distilled and matured for 15 years or more.
It is known for the fragrance of aged casks, a mellow, well-rounded palate and a bold, powerful taste.
