A single malt from Nikka's Yoichi distillery, released in 2018 and finished in ex-bourbon casks for the last years of its maturation.
The American oak brings sweetness and vanilla notes to a malt that is lightly peated, with a touch of iodine. It belongs to the Nikka Discovery Series, an experimental range created to show what different casks contribute during ageing.
