Nikka Yoichi Discovery is a single malt from the Hokkaido distillery, bottled in 2021 at 47% ABV in a 70cl bottle. Yoichi is typically peaty and smoky, enough to be mistaken for an Islay malt, but this version is unpeated.
It is abundantly malty, fruity and spicy, in a style that recalls both the Lowland and Speyside regions of Scotland.
