Nikka Yoichi Non Aged is a Japanese single malt whisky, bottled at 45% ABV in a 70cl bottle. Each Yoichi expression differs from the last, and this one is balanced and full of personality.
It is golden copper in colour. The nose opens with fruit and pastry, then oak and warm spices, with a slight peatiness developing over time.
The palate is lively and fresh, with more pepper, nutshell notes and peat that returns a little stronger. The finish turns salty and oaky, with a well contained woodiness.
