This limited edition from the Yoichi distillery, which is owned by Nikka, was presented in 2017 and comes in a 70cl bottle.
It starts from the distillery's original single malt, lightly peated and with a briny edge. The whisky then finished its maturation in old Caribbean rum casks, which added a softer character.
Bitter chocolate notes come through in the finish.
