This is a limited edition from the Yoichi distillery, released under the Nikka name and bottled in 2018, in a 70cl bottle.
Its maturation ended in former cream sherry casks. The whisky was originally lightly peated and maritime in character, and in this version it gains sweet, spicy notes.
A touch of bitterness is noted in the finish.
