Nikka Yoichi Single Malt 90th Anniversary (70cl, 45%)

Nikka Yoichi Single Malt was released for the 90th anniversary of Nikka Whisky, in a limited-edition case. It is bottled at 45% in a 70cl bottle. Yoichi was the first distillery of Nikka Whisky and stands on the coast of Hokkaido, Japan's northernmost island. The malts are made using direct heating with a coal fire, and the whisky is a vatting of malts of different ages. It is described as balancing smoky, fruity and floral aromas, with marine and subtly peated notes.
