A Nizza DOCG Barbera from Coppo, expressing the character of Barbera within the Nizza denomination. It is intense in colour, with aromas of ripe red fruits, cherry and plum, plus delicate spice and floral notes. The palate is lively and well balanced by the grape's typical acidity, with present but soft tannins, fruit, savouriness and a long finish with a light spiciness. It pairs with Piedmontese and Italian dishes such as red meats, roasts, game, aged cheeses, pasta with rich ragù and mushroom dishes. A brief decantation is recommended before serving at around 16-18 °C.
