Nonino Il Moscato di Nonino Grappa Monovitigno (41%)

Il Moscato di Nonino is a single-varietal grappa from Nonino, the family that created the Monovitigno style in 1973 with Picolit pomace. It is made from selected, destalked Moscato pomace, taken fresh and soft from grapes used for sweet and sparkling Italian wines. Distillation follows straight after fermentation, in copper steam stills that run without heads and tails, an approach devised by Benito Nonino to keep only the heart of the spirit. Elegant, aromatic and sensual, it is best served at about 12°C, or in an icy, open tulip-shaped glass.
