This is a 7 year old Islay single malt from Caol Ila, bottled by North Star Spirits in a 70cl bottle. The whisky was distilled in 2015 and matured in a Port octave, and it was bottled as an Australian exclusive in a run of just 60 bottles.
North Star is a Glasgow independent bottler, founded in 2016 by Iain Croucher, and is known for single cask and small batch releases as well as its Vega and Spica blends.
Caol Ila was built in 1846 by Hector Henderson and is now run by Diageo, which took it over through the 1927 merger with DCL.
