North Star Spirits was founded in Glasgow in 2016 by Iain Croucher and bottles single cask and small batch whiskies.
Caol Ila was built in 1846 by Hector Henderson. It is now run by Diageo, and its single malt brand returned in 2002 with the revival of the 12 year old.
