This is a 10 year old single malt from an undisclosed Speyside distillery, put together by Iain Croucher of North Star from two single sherry hogsheads.
The whisky was distilled in 2010 and bottled in October 2021 at 43.2% ABV. The outturn was 660 bottles.
The nose offers baked apples, pears and fruit pastries. On the palate there is sweet white pepper, peanut butter and damson jam, leading to a finish of light sherry with a firm, powerful woodiness.
