Nulu Red Hot Cherry Rocket is a single-barrel Kentucky straight bourbon, bottled by Prohibition Craft Spirits in Louisville. It comes from barrel KY-91, aged 7 years and 4 months in new charred American oak, in a 75cl bottle.
It was bottled straight from the cask at 70.6% ABV, with no water added and no blending with other barrels. It is also non-chill filtered.
The nose shows cherry compote, cinnamon heat, caramel, toasted oak, cola spice and dark vanilla. The palate brings cherry candy, red hot cinnamon, dark caramel, brown sugar, seasoned oak and roasted nuts. The finish is long and fiery, with lingering cherry, baking spice, oak char and caramelised sweetness.
