Oban 14 Year Old is the Western Highland member of Diageo's Classic Malts series. It is a full-bodied, fruity single malt with a touch of heather and a clear note of smoke, bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle.
The colour is olive gold. The nose is rich and sweet, with oranges, lemons and pears, sea salt and peaty smoke.
The palate is full, rich and almost oily, with dried figs, honey-sweet spices and a smoky, malty dryness. The finish is long and smooth-sweet, with oak, dryness and a grain of salt.
