Obscurities & Curiosities Lindores Abbey Lowland Single Malt Scotch Whisky (70cl, 60%)

This is a Lindores Abbey single malt from the Lowlands, selected by independent bottler North Star Spirits for its Obscurities & Curiosities range. It is bottled at a cask strength of 60% ABV in a 70cl bottle. The whisky is non-chill-filtered and of natural colour. The nose brings orchard fruit and lemon zest with honeyed barley, vanilla and sweet pastry. On the palate, sweet malt, baked apple and pear sit with honey, vanilla and citrus oils, while ginger and pepper build slowly. The finish is long and warming, with honeyed malt, citrus, peppery spice and gently drying oak.
