Octomore 15.1 is a 5 year old heavily peated Islay single malt from the Bruichladdich distillery. Its phenol level is 108.2 ppm, so the peat smoke is very strong.
It was matured in a combination of first fill bourbon casks and re-charred ex-bourbon casks. The spirit was distilled from 100% Concerto barley grown on the Scottish mainland, and the whisky was matured entirely on Islay.
