Octomore Edition 15.2 is a 5 year old Islay single malt, peated to 108.2 PPM.
It was matured in second-fill wine and bourbon casks, then finished in first-fill Cognac casks.
The nose opens with sweet citrus, lime zest and toasted oak. The palate is viscous and smooth, with vanilla custard, cracked black pepper and dried apricot, and the finish carries a distinct maritime saltiness.
