Octomore Edition 14.2 is a heavily peated Islay single malt, aged for five years and bottled at 57.7% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is made from Scottish Concerto barley and measures 128.9 ppm.
The ".2" editions in the Octomore series explore variations in cask. For this one, presented in 2023, the whisky matured in first-fill oloroso sherry casks (40%), first-fill amarone casks (16%) and second-fill amarone casks (44%).
Its aromas are soft and fruity.
