Octomore Edition 14.3 is a 5 year old Islay single malt in a 70cl bottle. The ".3" releases in the Octomore series are made from concerto barley grown on Islay itself, in the island's iodine-rich, peaty soils and exposed to sea winds and spray.
The whisky matured for five years, half in ex-American casks and half in ex-wine casks. It is extremely heavily peated, at 214.2 ppm.
