Octomore 16.3 is a heavily peated Islay single malt, made entirely from Concerto barley grown on the island and harvested in 2018. The peat level is 189.5 ppm.
The whisky matured for five years in three types of cask: bourbon, Pedro Ximenez sherry and Sauternes wine. It is bottled at 61.6% ABV, in a 70cl bottle.
The tasting notes describe citrus, honey and vanilla alongside floral and iodine notes, together with the peat typical of Islay.
