Old Charter Oak Finest Oak is a straight bourbon made at Buffalo Trace Distillery in Frankfort, Kentucky, and bottled at 45% ABV. The name refers to the white oak that shapes it.
It is aged in barrels made by Canton Cooperage from hand-selected American white oak, with the staves seasoned naturally in the open air in Kentucky.
The nose is warm vanilla, caramelised sugar and seasoned oak. On the palate it is smooth and balanced, with toffee, spice and rich oak, and the finish is long and warming.
