Old Fettercairn – 1980s Highland Malt

Old Fettercairn is a Highland malt from the 1980s, brown in colour. The nose starts with honey, apricot, milk chocolate and nougat, then moves to bergamot, orange liqueur and chamomile, with hints of orange blossom water and rose water. The palate is orange, toffee and ripe apricot, with a pleasant maltiness and a note of freshly toasted cake, sweet but balanced. The finish is malty and orangey.
