Old Forester 117 Series High Angels Share Barrels 002 Straight Bourbon Whiskey (37.5cl, 55%)

This is the second release in the High Angels Share subset of the Old Forester 117 Series, a Kentucky straight bourbon from the Old Forester Distillery in Louisville, established in 1870. It is bottled at 110 proof (55% ABV) in a 37.5cl bottle. The barrels were chosen because they lost more spirit than usual to evaporation during maturation. They sat on the upper floors of Warehouse K, where strong heat cycling draws out more water and concentrates the flavour of the bourbon that remains.
