Old Forester 117 Series High Angels Share Barrels 003 Straight Bourbon Whiskey (37.5cl, 55%)

This is the third release in the High Angels Share subset of the Old Forester 117 Series, a Kentucky straight bourbon from the Old Forester Distillery in Louisville, established in 1870. It comes in a 375ml bottle at 55% ABV (110 proof). The whisky is drawn from barrels in Warehouse K that lost an unusually large share of their contents to evaporation during ageing. Upper floors of that warehouse see stronger heat cycling and faster evaporation, which leaves the remaining bourbon more concentrated in flavour.
